Mike Butcher MBE

Mike Butcher has been named one of the most influential journalists in European technology by several newspapers and magazines, including Wired.

As well as being a founding editor on TechCrunch, he also co-founded Pathfounders:AI100 (index of AI startups in Europe), The Europas Awards (for European startups), TechHub (the UK’s first co-working space for startups), Techfugees (the humanitarian tech charity), TechVets (the tech charity for military veterans), and Startup Coalition (the policy thinktank for UK startups). He has advised both the EU and the UK government on startups, and was awarded an MBE in the 2016 Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
